BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE QUALIFICATION:
The scope of a tyre repairing and wheel balancing technician’s work includes operating a service station for tyres. He/She carries out job in the field of trading, repairing, fitting, balancing storing, protecting environment, keeping safety rules connected to treads, tyres and their appliances.

TERMS OF TAKING A COMPLEX VOCATIONAL EXAMINATION:

A) Title of exam assignment: Tyre fitting and balancing
Description of exam assignment: Fitting on/off wheels, fitting on/off tyres. Setting inner pressure of tyres. Balancing wheels. Proper usage of fitting and balancing machines and their complementaries, tools and handtools. Keeping regulations of safety provisions.
Duration of exam: 40 min
Evaluation weight ratio: 20 %
B)Title of exam assignment: Tyre and inner tube repairing
Description of exam assignment: Proper examining and assessing reparability of broken tyres and tubes. Repairing angular holes, side-walls, undercarriages.Interpreting and using charts for repairing. Materials of repairing. Safe usage of machines and tools for repairing. Pattern correction and recarving.
Duration of exam: 120 min

Description of exam assignment: Regulations of safety and fire protection. Laws, decrees, resolutions of environmental protection and public health. Accidents, occupational hazards. Devices for workers’ protection. Quality assurance. Completing invoices.
