The task of a tyre manufacturing technician is to prepare rubber compounds based on a formula with the help of industrial mixing machines, to turn rubber compounds into semi-finished tyre products, to build raw tire structures from semi-finished products, and to vulcanize them. A tyre technician performs a complete review of raw materials, in-progress quality control and testing of finished products.

A) Title of exam assignment: Preparation of rubber compounds, raw material and tyre inspection
Description of exam assignment: Physical property measurements (density, viscosity, particle size distribution) of raw materials and excipients,
Rheological examination of rubber compounds, inspection of vulcanized rubber samples (drawing up rheological and vulcanization curves; preparing samples for further examinations; thickness, hardness, tear, adhesion, elongation, aging and wear tests), documentation of measurement results.
Furthermore: detection of mixture components according to formula, implementation of the mixing operation, extraction of the finished compound.
Duration of exam: 120 minutes

B) Title of exam assignment: Manufacturing semi-finished rubber industry products, tyre construction
Description of exam assignment: Processing tyre compounds (operating semi-finished rubber product manufacturing equipment, carrying out related operations), production of vehicle tyres from semi-finished products (operating building and vulcanizing equipment, carrying out related operations), implementing occupation safety and quality control tasks related to semi-fished and finished product manufacturing.
Duration of exam: 60 minutes
Evaluation weight ratio: 35%
Title of exam assignment: Tyre manufacturing machines
Description of exam assignment: Centrally compiled exercises which contain the following elements: machine parts, motors, drives, pumps, semi-finished product equipments (extruder, calender, flange ring equipments, cutting equipments); finished product manufacturing equipments.
Duration of exam: 90 minutes

Title of exam assignment: Raw materials of tyre production, semi-finished and finished product manufacturing technologies
Description of exam assignment: Production technologies of raw materials and excipients, rubber compounds and semi-finished products related to tyre manufacturing (extrusion, calendering, flange ring production, cutting technologies), processing semi-finished products (construction technology, vulcanization technologies)
Duration of exam: 45 minutes (preparation time: 30 minutes, presentation: 15 minutes)
